Hello Students and Parents!
My name is Vanessa Guerra and I am currently a 6th grade Math teacher at Rafael Cantu Junior High. Besides teaching math, I am also the current Cheerleading Sponsor and a UIL Number Sense Coach. This will be my 11th year at Rafael Cantu Junior High and I enjoy being a Cavalier!
I have a bachelors degree from the University of Texas Pan American and a Masters degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Mathematics Curriculum. I absolutely love school and I cant wait to share my passion for learning with you!
When I am not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do in the classroom, I enjoy reading, shopping at Target, grabbing coffee, and spending time with my two Boston terriers and family!
