parents this video is to show you how to access the t e a family portal for Star report card my name is Antonio or Owosso the instructional and assessment strategist what are fired Junior High first you will go through a search engine or example I am using the Google search you will enter the www.texasassessment.com love from Dad point it would take you to the website that says Texas assessment where you would click to take you to the next step once you enter the t e a Texas assessment homepage you would need three things one student date of birth to student social security number or the tsds number three students unique access code if you already have the students Unicode you can interested at this point with the students date of birth and first name if you do not have that information you would then go as to how do I look up my access code once you enter the family portal you will enter the students tsds ID for the peins ID which in most cases is the student social security number followed by the students date of birth and first name and click search once you go concert it will automatically give you the student access code then you would click on go to login once you have the login where you would see the student access code and if it's not there you would enter it yourself followed Again by entering students date of birth and first name and you click sign on once you have entered the family portal the first thing you want to do is change the Academic Year to 2324 school year when you do that you'll see all the tests that the students have taken for that year and also the student performance level by subject another important document that you to see when you get to the family portal is the report card guide the report card guide would give you a description of how to read the student progress report the report card guide explain to the parents in detail as to how the student did and how to read the report card to slide it would also explain in detail if the student took that the bus test if you go to the assessment homepage the very bottom where it says test scores release date you will see when the different tests will be released for example the spring 2024 STAAR grades 3 through 8 assessment what will be leased on June 14th 2024 if you want additional information you can go to tea texas.gov backslash student assessment backslash testing backslash star backslash 2024 login and learn more about to kid this website from t e a u can get release date or any other information that can help you as a parent to support your child if you have any additional questions please reach me at 323-7816 thank you
