Principal's Message
In 1848, Horace Mann expressed the following, "Education, then, beyond all other devices of human origin, is the great equalizer of the conditions of men, the balance wheel of the social machinery." Like Horace Mann, I firmly believe that the knowledge and skills learned in school will increase our students' ability to secure their financial futures. I am convinced that a strong education will strengthen our students' ability to obtain the job of their dreams, and more importantly, make their community and this world a better place for all of us. To this end, here at Rafael Cantu Jr. High, we will craft classroom and extracurricular experiences to help our students acquire outstanding communication skills, solve differences through dialogue and diplomacy, employ problem-solving strategies in cognitively challenging situations, use technology effectively, and enhance their leadership skills as they participate in all aspects of school life. Please feel free to visit our campus and witness first-hand all the great things that happen at Rafael Cantu Junior High School.
