Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) had eight robotics teams at the FIRST RGV Robotics Kick-off on Saturday, September 7 at McAllen High School. This year the game challenges for all levels will have a Stars Wars theme and will be using hashtags associated with this particular theme.
Mission CISD had the most representation at this event with a total of eight schools attending.
The district’s four junior highs (R. Cantu Jr. High, K. White Jr. High, Mission Jr, and Alton Memorial Jr. High), three high schools (Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School and Mission Collegiate High School) and one elementary (Cavazos Elementary) were all in attendance.
