About Me

Hello and welcome back students and parents! Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Rafael Cantu Jr. High. My name is Brianna Cantu, and I am the campus School Nurse. This will be my second year at Cantu Jr. High, and my fourth year as being a Registered Nurse. Prior to working at Cantu Jr. High, I was a Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Nurse at DHR Health. I took care of children of all ages with Cancer and administered their chemotherapy. I graduated from Veterans Memorial High School in 2012, and I received my Associate's Degree in Nursing from South Texas College in 2016. I recently just got married, and I have a 9-year-old step son that attends Mims Elementary. We also have 3 Great Danes that are named Lexi, Diesel, and Coco and they are our pride and joys. I take pride in helping my students, and my community to provide them with the best care possible.
