Hello RCJH, My name is Lisa Amaya and I am your librarian. I love to read and hope I can encourage you to realize that reading opens up a world of adventures.  It takes you to places you’ve never been before and opens our minds to worlds of possibilities.  

Here’s a bit of information about me.  I received my bachelors of Education from Texas University of Austin, “Go Longhorns!”   I then received my Masters in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University.  I have two amazing daughters, 4 dogs, one cat and a husband who all complete me.  

Although, this school year will begin a bit different, reading is always present. Reading offers an escape to places you've never been or dreamed of. So, charge on Cavaliers and READ!
